The Yokomo IB-414KB1A kingpin ball is an accessory aimed at A-arms like DRB and DIB that require a higher ball neck to refine geometry or prevent interference under heavy camber. That 1mm increase changes arm angle just enough to affect clearance without swapping arms.
Threading aligns with the 3mm ISO standard so the part fits aluminium steering blocks designed for that thread. These are ideal when the stock ball base scrapes the arm at extreme camber or when you are tuning upper/lower arm angles for steering precision and tyre contact.
Fitment is quick: remove the old ball, screw in the IB-414KB1A, then move the suspension through its full travel to check clearance. Ensure the ball base does not bind and validate roll center and camber response on a test session before final tightening.
