Adjustable slip-angle springs

The Yokomo YAS-1260A spring kit is designed for RC drift on P-tile where consistent slides and repeatable feedback are critical. The two-bottle supply lets tuners select spring combinations to shape slip angle and response.

When fitted inside shock assemblies the springs change roll stiffness, influence weight transfer and help set the car's front to rear balance during sliding manoeuvres. Match spring choices to shock oil and piston size, then tweak ride height to refine steering entry and mid-corner drift balance.

Can these springs alter weight transfer during a slide?

Yes. Changing spring rates affects roll stiffness and therefore weight transfer, which in turn changes how the car enters and holds a drift.

How many bottles are supplied and why?

The set includes two bottles of springs to allow tuners to mix front and rear rates or to swap sets quickly between runs.

Any recommended pairing with pistons and oil?

Pair the springs with piston sizes and shock oil that complement the chosen spring rate; softer springs need lighter oil and larger pistons for similar damping feel, and vice versa.
