Aftermarket alloy gearbox for Tamiya DT02, DT03, DT04 and Hornet EVO

Designed as a direct replacement, this aluminum gear case fits Tamiya DT02, DT03, DT04 and Hornet EVO platforms while retaining the original gear locations and service access points. The JR-THNE06-RD replaces the stock plastic shell to create a firmer mounting platform for drivetrain components.

The red anodized aluminum construction acts as a strengthening hop-up, helping to keep gear engagement consistent under increased load and during prolonged running. Where dimensions align, existing spur, pinion and bearings can be transferred into the new housing.

Installation notes: confirm your chassis designation before purchase, check and renew any worn bearings or screws, and apply a light coat of gear grease to the teeth to reduce wear after refitment.

The JR-THNE06-RD provides a straightforward aftermarket upgrade to increase rigidity and make routine servicing easier on compatible Tamiya DT-series and Hornet EVO drivetrains.
