Cap Function and Fit

Designed for DZ175 pump units, this pump cap carries the YS Engine code YSF8062 and replaces the original housing cap when worn or removed. It reinstates the pump chamber cover and restores proper sealing.

The fitting process is basic: access the pump, remove the existing cap, examine mating surfaces and seals, fit the YSF8062 cap to the DZ175 pump, and perform static and running leak tests. Take care with thread engagement and do not overtighten to avoid stripping threads.

Functionally, the cap completes the chamber and supports stable fuel flow. As a spare, it restores correct operation and helps keep pumping behaviour consistent during bench testing and in the field.
