Carbon undertray designed for Fazer D2

The Kyosho FAW319 is a 2.2mm carbon under chassis (FZD2) offered as a direct-fit optional part for the Fazer D2 chassis. It installs under the stock chassis to change flex levels, boosting rigidity and improving steering response while helping front and rear traction in on-road drift applications.

This part is intended for use on the Fazer D2 platform only; it attaches using the existing chassis mounting points and is made to work with typical on-road components like servos, ESC and motor without changing the core layout. Additional brackets or extensive trimming are not usually required, though test fitting is recommended.

In practical tuning terms, the undertray provides a simple chassis-stiffening route: drivers fit it to reduce unwanted flex, increase transient responsiveness, and stabilise traction through corner transitions. Expect noticeable effects in turn-in and mid-corner balance that should be reconciled by adjusting shocks, roll centre and tyre setup during tuning.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The FAW319 is designed to use the chassis' standard fixings. In most cases no special hardware is needed, but keep the original screws and verify thread engagement during installation.
Adding a 2.2mm carbon plate adds a small amount of weight low on the chassis which can slightly affect balance; the change is usually minor but consider it when tuning for drift.
Yes. Because the undertray stiffens the chassis, many users raise damping or change spring rate to maintain desired handling and reduce snap oversteer.
The FAW319 is a tuning component for on-road drift and handling; suitability for any specific event depends on rules and expected contact levels. It is not an impact protection plate.
