This aftermarket split upper deck is produced for the ARC A11 touring car. The part is a 1.6mm graphite plate designed to occupy the rear and front positions of the A11 upper deck and to act as an upper-chassis mounting element.
Functionally, the plate adjusts local chassis stiffness and affects front-to-rear balance. Swapping upper decks is a standard tuning method to alter how load is transferred across suspension points and to change the car's behaviour during entry and mid-corner phases.
Fitting requires partial disassembly of the A11 upper deck to remove the OEM plate and fit the split unit. Check that the deck sits flush and that fasteners are aligned; because graphite is the material, small changes to mounting torque can noticeably change stiffness.
Durability tips: inspect the plate edges and mounting holes for impact damage after use, and avoid overtightening screws which can induce stress in graphite parts.
