Stable silicone oil for consistent damping

The Yokomo YS-800 Super Blend Shock Oil #800 is a silicone damping fluid designed for RC-scale shock absorbers. By switching viscosity grades when rebuilding, you can tune compression and rebound rates to influence handling balance.

This Super Blend formula works with many hobby silicone dampers and threaded cartridges common in electric and nitro model kits. Note that this is a maintenance fluid accessory and does not include mechanical shock parts or fittings.

When servicing shocks, remove old oil, clean the internals thoroughly, and refill at a controlled pace to avoid air entrapment. Pump the shock to bleed air, check piston hole alignment and O-ring seating, then reinstall components and test. Since #800 is comparatively thick, progress through viscosity steps to evaluate changes in handling.
