Front & rear tower mounts for YD-2S

The Yokomo Y2-017SA set provides plastic front and rear shock towers designed for the YD-2S drift chassis. These towers act as the upper anchor points for shocks and route suspension forces into the vehicle frame.

Installation notes: the towers are intended to attach to the stock YD-2S mounting points and replace the original pieces without altering shock units. During installation, confirm alignment of the shock shafts and set mounting screw torque to match the stock configuration. Check for sufficient clearance through the whole shaft travel to prevent contact with the tower edges.

Tuning role: repositioning the upper shock mounts using these towers changes camber gain and roll centre geometry, allowing you to tune roll and pitch responses as part of broader setup work involving springs and shock placement.
