Tuning-friendly front body mount for 180SX shells

This front body mount is made to adapt DUNLOP with KOGUCHI POWER 180SX style bodies to a standard front mounting position while offering an offset so the bonnet duct remains unobstructed. It is useful when tuning body alignment and airflow styling on drift chassis at model scale.

To install, secure the adapter at the existing front body mount point and transfer the provided offset to the body shell, then cut or drill the new hole so the duct is clear. The item functions as an interface and is not designed to replace structural chassis parts.

Delivered as a single accessory piece, the SD-DKPFB lets you experiment with body hole placement during setup without changing the underlying chassis mounting hardware.

How will moving the mount affect body alignment and handling?

Shifting the mounting point changes how the shell sits on the chassis, which can improve clearance around ducts and provide a cleaner profile. It does not directly alter suspension setup but can affect aerodynamic appearance and balance at speed.

Is the hole position adjustable or fixed once installed?

The SD-DKPFB provides an offset guide; once you mark and cut the shell at the new location the positioning is fixed for that shell. You can refit different shells or revert by using the original mount hardware.

Can this be used during setup to test multiple positions?

Yes. Use the adapter to trial different hole placements before final trimming of the shell so you can compare fit and styling without altering the chassis.
