This aluminum front knuckle arm serves as an RC-scale replacement for TAMIYA TL-01, GF-01 and WR02CB chassis. Machined from dark blue anodized aluminum, it replaces the standard plastic knuckle to offer a more rigid steering pivot and improved repeatability under load while remaining intended specifically for RC model applications.
Installation follows the familiar TAMIYA procedure: remove the original knuckle, transfer any bearings or bushings, and secure the new aluminum arm using the stock mounting hardware. Align steering links carefully and apply moderate torque to fasteners to avoid binding; the component is made to fit the common steering link geometry of the listed chassis.
As a tuning component, expect a modest rise in steering stiffness that can affect toe settings and steering response. After fitting, check steering throw and camber throughout suspension travel and make incremental adjustments to link lengths or servo trim to maintain the handling balance you want. The anodized surface limits local wear but does not replace routine bearing and pivot maintenance.
