This RC-scale front link upper mount is supplied as AW-23017-S and is manufactured by Jazrider. It is a silver aluminum replacement meant for the Axial platforms listed in the product name and is intended for the front link assembly on those chassis.
In service the mount locates the top of the front lateral/link and interfaces with suspension geometry. Swapping the original plastic piece for aluminum provides a firmer attach point and a repeatable pivot, which can sharpen steering inputs and affect roll centre when tuning.
Installation on compatible Axial towers is straightforward: remove the factory upper link mount, move your link hardware onto the AW-23017-S, and screw the replacement into the same tower openings.
