High-grip front spring tuned for indoor racing

The Yokomo RP-083PI RP Ultra front off-road spring is made for carpet and astro turf tracks where traction is strong and predictable rebound matters. The construction improves on earlier runs to address fatigue and variance while maintaining quick, responsive action.

Functionally the spring affects front behaviour at takeoff and landing, smoothing transitions and helping the chassis settle after jumps. Tuners use preload adjustments and complementary rear springs to fine-tune the vehicle's response around complex indoor courses.

Fitment reminder: this is a front suspension spring intended for the chassis listed below. Always verify spring seat and retainer compatibility with your specific model before installing.

Supported Chassis: B-YZ4SF / B-YZ2 / B-YZ2CA / B-YZ2DT / B-YZ2DTM / B-YZ2DTMW / B-YZ2DTM2 / B-YZ2CAL2 / B-YZ2DTM2S / B-YZ2DTM3 / B-YZ2CAL3 / B-YZ2DTM31 / B-YZ2CAL31 / ROR-010 / ROR-010RTR / ROR-010RTR-1

Yes. Its tuned rebound and rate help the front maintain grip during aggressive entries on high-traction carpet, reducing unsettled behaviour when weight transfers occur.
You may need to experiment. If rebound becomes too quick, slightly heavier shock oil or increased damping will tame the action; lighter oil can be used if you prefer a faster response.
Increase front preload incrementally and ensure rear springs are matched to keep balance. Check shock pistons and oil for consistent damping to complement the spring's behaviour.
