What these front mounts do

Supplied as Serpent part 402168, this pair of front shockmounts is made for RC-scale front damper attachment on Medius X26 chassis versions. The kit includes two matching mounts for the left and right positions.

They are intended to replace worn or broken front mounts so that damper alignment and suspension geometry return to the chassis design spec. Fitment assumes the target X26 variant shares the same shock tower layout as the original parts.

Replacement uses the vehicle's existing shock tower and fasteners; standard RC workshop tools will cover removal and refit tasks. Check nearby screws and damper fixings while you are replacing the mounts to ensure consistent handling after service.

On-track setup note: changing mount points changes lever arm and damper angle, so pair any mount swaps with spring and oil adjustments to refine front-end balance.
