Front shock stay description for Tomahawk

This SP F Shock Stay is manufactured as a front shock mounting component for Tomahawk 85WC, supplied in a set of two. Fabricated from 3mm black FRP via CNC processes, the part offers a rigid and accurate surface for mounting shocks without implying changes to other drivetrain systems.

Use notes: the unit is an optional front shock stay for Tomahawk 85WC and can also be fitted to compatible Scorpion-series chassis provided SCW040 Adjustable Shocks are installed. The stay is not compatible with the SCW013 HG Shock Set, so confirm shock compatibility before fitting.

Installation and tuning role: installing the stay tightens up the front shock interface, which can produce more consistent handling and make spring and damping adjustments more predictable. Preserve original mounting hardware where instructed and follow safe installation steps in your manual.

Compatibility summary: Front mounting for Tomahawk 85WC; Scorpion-series fitment requires SCW040; not for use with SCW013 HG Shock Set.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Adding the FRP stay stiffens the front shock mount and can reduce flex under load, making damping and spring changes produce more predictable handling.
FRP provides a stiff, lightweight mounting surface. While durable for general use, it behaves differently to metal parts under impact, so consider driving style when assessing longevity.
After fitting, recheck shock angles and test with a few spring/damper adjustments to find the new baseline; the stay reduces unwanted mount flex so tuning may feel more responsive.
