Front upper arm mount: DP7C fitment details

This aluminium front upper arm mount is made as an RC replacement for the DP7C chassis. It creates a solid mounting location for the front upper arm and plays a direct role in front suspension geometry and vehicle response when setting up the car.

The mount is fitted in place of the original upper arm mount and is compatible with the DP7C front suspension layout. It permits incremental adjustments to upper arm height and pivot position that affect camber and roll center, both important for steering balance in drift setups.

Fitting the mount normally requires removal of the front bulkhead or shock tower depending on your chassis layout, and the part should be secured with the existing mounting hardware. After installation, confirm the arm pivot alignment and check for any binding through the suspension travel before finally tightening. Perform routine inspections for wear and ensure correct screw torque.

Light use of removable thread locker is advisable on chassis screws to prevent loosening while allowing future serviceability.
Yes, the stiffer mounting point tends to sharpen steering input and can change mid-corner traction; expect a firmer feel compared to stock.
Start with small upper arm height adjustments, test on low-speed runs, and observe camber and roll behavior before increasing changes.
