FS-style Intake Manifold Overview

This intake manifold is an RC-scale replacement designed for O.S. Engine FSa-81 type units fitted to FS-series model engines. Its role is to route intake air and couple the carburettor or intake assembly to the engine intake port with reliable fitment for hobby engines.

Installation to compatible FS housings is normally straightforward: remove the carburettor, align the manifold flange with the engine intake face, and secure using the original mounting hardware to protect sealing and alignment. Replace any worn gasket material to prevent air leaks and unstable idle or poor throttle response.

From a tuning perspective the manifold changes internal intake geometry and can influence throttle response and the mid-range band on glow engines. Replacing damaged or worn manifolds helps restore consistent idling and makes repeatable bench or track tuning simpler. This is supplied solely as an RC accessory.
