The six-wheeled Tyrrell P34 remains a memorable chapter in Formula 1, first appearing in 1976 and challenging convention with its unique front wheel setup. This Fujimi 1/20 kit recreates the P34 driven by Ronnie Peterson at the 1977 Japan GP, giving modellers a chance to assemble a distinctive historic racer.
The P34s design used four small front wheels to reduce aerodynamic drag and enhance front grip. Its competitive period was brief, but the concept is still admired. The kit captures the major design cues that made the car noteworthy.
The model represents the long chassis specification from 1977 and arrives with decals for Ronnie Petersons #3 car to help achieve an accurate period finish. The build rewards attention to detail and careful painting.
