Fujimi FJ-46132 Shinano 1/700: Wave series carrier model

This 1/700 plastic kit recreates the Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft carrier Shinano and is released as part of Fujimi's Wave ship series, aimed at modelers who prefer small-scale display projects.

Shinano was originally laid down as the third Yamato-class battleship hull and converted into an aircraft carrier during World War II. Completed in late 1944, Shinano had a very brief service life before being sunk by a US submarine shortly after commissioning.
