Antenna Routing and Replacement

The Futaba FUAL0140 antenna cord is supplied as an RC-scale replacement intended for Futaba FM receivers. The 1000mm purple wire provides enough length to position the antenna inside the model body where the original lead may be too short or damaged.

When installing, route the lead away from the motor and heavy current wiring to reduce interference risk. Avoid sharp bends and keep a small loop of slack so chassis flex does not place tension on the connection.

If you need to trim the lead, measure twice and cut once, then secure the unused routing with clips or mounts provided on the chassis. Complete an outdoor range check to confirm stable reception after any modification.
