The Futaba FUSG23 servo gear set is supplied as a direct internal replacement for Futaba S23 series servos and comes without retail packing. It is intended for RC hobby use to remove and replace worn gears and recover the servo's moving parts without exchanging the complete unit.

Use the set when gear lash, tooth damage, or excessive endplay are evident in an S23 servo. The parts reinstate correct mesh and the path for torque delivery from the motor to the output spline, helping to maintain normal centring and control response in model systems.

Installation notes: disassemble the servo on a clean work area, keep shims and fasteners clearly sorted, and confirm gear mesh and endplay before final assembly. Apply minimal, suitable grease only to gear contact areas, keep lubricant away from bearings, and exercise the servo slowly to confirm quiet, even rotation before reinstalling.

Tuning and fitment: new internal gears can slightly change the servo's feel and endplay; after fitting, check for any binding and ensure connectors and mountings are tight.
