The Futaba S9602 is a compact, high-speed servo intended for model aircraft where faster travel and dependable centring are important. It ships with a J-style lead already attached for easy connection to standard receivers.
The S9602 combines a coreless motor with metal gearing and dual ball bearings on the output shaft to provide firmer control feel and improved repeatability over simple plastic-gear micros. The black plastic case is water resistant but not rated as waterproof; avoid immersion or heavy spray.
Power demands rise during sustained high-load manoeuvres. If using NiMH or LiPo packs, confirm your battery and BEC/regulator can supply the servo's peak current without excessive voltage sag that could affect control authority.
Install the servo using common micro-servo mounting points. The accessory bag includes vibration grommets, brass bushings, mounting screws and a choice of horns to fit typical horn patterns. When trimming sailplanes and gliders, increase throws in small steps and verify neutral and end points before flying.
Replacement case is identified as FUTM3065 and extra mounting hardware as FUTM2350; always bench-test the servo after installation to confirm correct fit and operation.
