Firm-Grade Gear Differential Oil

Yokomo YOKCS10000 contains a specialist silicone-based oil aimed at RC gear differentials, supplied in a 30cc bottle and identified by the "#10000" grade for relatively stiff diff action.

The oil's purpose is to alter torque transfer between driven wheels, which affects traction response and mid-corner behaviour. Choose this firmer oil when you need crisper engagement and reduced lag in on-road driving situations, or when refining the balance between understeer and oversteer.

Fitting guidance: this fluid is intended for gear-type differentials and is compatible with common diff housings and internal gearsets used in electric on-road models. When changing oil, remove the old lubricant, inspect gears and bearings, then refill with the selected grade to obtain the desired response. Avoid letting the oil contact painted surfaces and remove any excess after servicing.

At 30cc, the bottle is convenient for multiple refills on 1/10-scale sealed gear diffs and supports progressive adjustments in diff feel during setup trials.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes, the firmer #10000 grade increases diff engagement, which typically produces a sharper throttle response and more immediate power transfer on asphalt or other hard surfaces.
The 30cc bottle holds enough oil for several refills on 1/10 gear diffs, so it is practical for servicing multiple cars or repeated tuning sessions.
Yes. Confirm that seals and diff materials are compatible with silicone blends and clean the diff housing to prevent contamination before adding fresh oil.
