This 2-piece adjustable main drive shaft kit is tailored for the GMADE R1 Rock Buggy, coupling 6061-T6 aluminium shaft bodies with steel hardware to find a practical compromise between lightness and strength for RC drivelines.
Aluminium bodies reduce rotating mass versus all-steel units, which can lower electrical load in battery-powered setups while preserving accurate driveline alignment. Steel wire rings keep the retaining screws secured to reduce the chance of losing hardware on rough runs.
The shafts include length adjustment to suit different chassis spacing: front 122mm to 132mm and rear 105mm to 115mm. Required O-rings and screws are included so minimal additional parts are needed for fitting.
When fitting, seat the wire ring and torque the M4 screws appropriately to limit axial play, then double-check driveline alignment to prevent binding against transmission outputs or axle cups.
