This 135mm front L-shape piggy back internal damper is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminium and is intended as a replacement for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER platform. The built-in piston offers adjustable damping characteristics to refine front suspension behaviour without changing major chassis parts.

Installation is performed at the front damper locations using standard shock removal and fitting methods common to 1/7 scale desert racer builds. Damping tuning is achieved by adjusting the top spring retainer and rotating the red adjustment screw located on the base of the negative pressure oil cylinder to alter spring/damper hardness for varying terrain.

Use this upgrade when you want a maintainable front shock solution that preserves piggy back oil volume and adds an aluminium body with internal piston control. The item is supplied as a two-piece set to replace both front dampers and is for RC use on compatible TRAXXAS chassis only.
