Savage 21 Delrin Main Spur

This is an aftermarket Delrin main spur made for HPI Savage 21 models. The Delrin construction creates a wear-friendly interface between the motor pinion and gearbox components while the 52T tooth count is indicated by DSAV1052T.

Fitting is simple on standard Savage 21 gearboxes: remove the case, keep the factory bearings and spacers, place the Delrin spur on the main shaft and set the axial position and backlash relative to the motor pinion. Test mesh at low throttle and rotate the drivetrain by hand to ensure even engagement before replacing the gearbox cover. Always remove batteries and isolate power before working on the drivetrain.

For tuning this Delrin piece is useful as an affordable wear surface when swapping spurs or trying new gear ratios, since it reduces metal-on-metal contact and simplifies maintenance. Supplied as a single replacement unit and intended for Savage 21 compatible RC models only.
