Trail Crawler +6mm Aluminum Hex Adapters

This aluminium wheel hex adapter set fits the TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler and is identified as model TRX4010/12MM. The design increases hex thickness to 12mm, moving wheels outwards to close the gap between hub and wheel and to widen the effective track for improved composure during slow technical runs.

Adapters are shaped to work with standard TRX4 wheel hex hubs and connect to front CVDs and rear drive shafts that accept wheel hexes. Installation is straightforward for builds using the stock mounting pattern, and the kit contains the fasteners and shims required for a firm installation. These parts are for model use on TRX4 Trail Crawler vehicles only.

Do these alter tyre clearance?

Moving the wheel outward by +6mm can change clearance at inner arches; in most stock setups the change is small, but check tyre rub on tight steering lock if you run large tyres.

Will drivetrain components be affected?

The adapters are compatible with standard TRX4 front CVDs and rear drive shafts that accept wheel hexes; no drivetrain modification is normally required for this modest offset.

How do I secure the adapters correctly?

Use the supplied screw shafts, shims and washers to set axial play then tighten the hex socket screws to lock the adapters to the hub as shown in the packing list.
