Centre-hollow battery strap for TRX4

This aluminium battery strap is a purpose-made accessory to hold on-board batteries firmly and help passive heat dissipation. The centre-hollow design accepts a variety of battery shapes, including vertical and humpback formats used in 7.2V and 8.4V packs.

The main plate is precision-machined from 6061 T6 aluminium to assist spreading heat away from the pack, and a thin foam pad is included to take up slack when thinner batteries are used. Supplied hardware is a 3x23.5 king pin screw plus a single foam hold-down piece to allow standard installation.

On crawls and slow trail work the strap keeps battery position stable to preserve predictable weight balance, and the open centre reduces contact area to support passive cooling during longer runs.

What is supplied with the strap?

You get the 6061 T6 machined strap, a foam hold-down pad and a 3x23.5 king pin screw for mounting.

Does it fit LiIon/LiPo packs?

Thin LiIon or LiPo cells may fit if the foam spacer is used, but confirm pack dimensions and terminal clearance before fitting.

Will it reduce battery heat?

The alloy plate helps dissipate heat and the central opening reduces surface contact, which together support passive cooling during longer climbs.

Can I mount this on non-TRX4 frames?

It is intended for TRX4 and GT4-TEC 2.0 mounting points shown in the compatibility box. Other frames may need modification or alternate hardware to fit.
