Weighted pendulum for improved TRX4 traction

This pendulum wheel weight is tailored for the TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler, combining an aluminium outer shell with removable stainless-steel beads to lower rotating mass at each wheel. The configuration adds mass low and outboard on the knuckle outer case to enhance wheel bite over rocks and soft ground while preserving pendulum motion.

The kit ships with a larger 23mm hex adapter, a multi-piece bead stack for stepwise tuning, and the necessary mounting hardware. Each wheel assembly accepts up to eight stainless beads at about 4g each, resulting in a per-piece weight roughly 44-64 grams when fully loaded.

Installation positions the pendulum weight on the front and rear outer case of the knuckles, allowing the mass to settle to the lowest point during suspension articulation. Vary the bead count to tune the trade-off between grip and steering feel; the manufacturer advises leaving at least three beads for consistent handling.
