This is a brass outer portal drive housing set made for the TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler, listed under model TRX4021X/2. The heavy housings raise wheel-end mass to alter vehicle dynamics during low-speed crawling and when recovering from shallow or uneven ground.

Each outer housing contributes 50 g of added mass at the wheel, helping to keep tyres planted, widen the practical crawl angle and aid a stuck axle to regain contact with the surface. They are suitable for either front or rear portal positions as required and are sold as an RC upgrade component.
