This stainless steel front and rear gear box bottom protector is an RC accessory made to protect the TRAXXAS TRX4 factory gearbox from rock strikes, sand ingress and impact encountered on trails. The focus is on abrasion resistance and corrosion mitigation in wet or salty environments.

The protector bolts to the chassis underside to cover the lowest section of the gearbox and related housings. It is supplied for the original gearbox configuration only, so check that your TRX4 retains the factory gearbox arrangement before purchasing.

As a protection-oriented upgrade rather than a performance part, it helps extend gearbox life during rock crawling and wet runs and should be part of your post-run maintenance checks.
