The 9T steel pinion is a replacement gear for TRAXXAS TRX4 applications and is listed under model TRX4009T. Manufactured from hardened #45 steel, it is built to withstand the low speed loads found in crawler setups.

This pinion mounts on the motor shaft to transfer power into the drivetrain and is intended to pair with 32 pitch spur gears (approximately 0.8mm tooth spacing). It fits motors that accept a 3.175mm centre bore when a 9T ratio is required to boost wheel torque.

Installation follows a standard pinion change routine: fit the gear using the supplied 3*3 screw shaft, then adjust gear mesh to avoid tight spots. Choosing 9T reduces top speed while improving crawl performance on technical sections.
