Precision bellcrank brace for Works'91 TeamSpec

The Yokomo YZ-202G is a purpose-made graphite bellcrank support that installs between the front bulkhead and the upper deck to secure the upper steering post area. With a 2.0mm graphite plate, it reduces steering pivot compliance so steering inputs feel faster and more predictable through the initial turn-in phase.

Installation is straightforward: the plate sits above the steering post upper journal and is clamped by the stock chassis screws, requiring no extra hardware. Since its effect is structural, expect changes in handling from increased front-end stiffness rather than altered steering geometry.

For tuning, fit the plate then test with your preferred tyres and baseline toe. Make measured suspension and steering adjustments to dial in the new turn-in characteristics and mid-corner balance.

Remark :

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
By stiffening the steering pivot you may be able to reduce front roll or alter toe settings slightly to refine turn-in. Make changes incrementally and test each adjustment to understand the net effect.
No special hardware is needed. The plate is clamped using the existing front bulkhead to upper deck fasteners supplied on the chassis.
Track surface and tyre choice influence whether the added stiffness is ideal. If understeer increases, revert to baseline settings or adjust front roll characteristics to compensate.
Check for hairline cracks or crush marks around screw holes and mating faces. Replace the plate if any structural damage is present to avoid failure under load.
