Steering plate upgrade for the M05 chassis

The graphite steering plate is an upgrade part for the Tamiya M05 chassis, designated M05-25/WO. Constructed from graphite to replace the stock steering plate, it increases stiffness at the steering mount and helps deliver a more consistent steering feel for precision adjustments and track driving.

Compatibility is limited to M05 variants that use the standard steering geometry. Fitment steps include removing the factory plate, copying over linkages and screws to the graphite unit, then checking neutral and steering alignment. This product is intended as a tuning and maintenance component within 1/10 on-road workflows.

Because the plate changes how steering loads travel through the mount, you may need to tweak toe and Ackermann after installation to restore the handling characteristics you expect. Use it as an incremental chassis hop-up rather than a change to electronics or the servo/ESC system.
