Spring Specification: 2mm Drift Type

The Yokomo YOKYS2DLH is a 2mm long shock spring for drift RC cars, finished in green and produced by Swift. It is a direct tuning part that alters suspension characteristics by changing spring rate and preload, without the need to modify shock oil or piston assemblies.

Use this spring as a swap-in replacement or as part of iterative tuning on compatible drift shock assemblies. Replacing springs is one of the simplest adjustments to control how the car rolls and recovers from slides: low-rate springs increase roll and help soak up transfers, while higher-rate springs reduce roll and promote faster recovery.

Installation is straightforward: remove the shock from the vehicle, disassemble the cap and shaft following your shock's procedure, slide the spring onto the shock body or the shaft retainer cup, and reassemble. Confirm clearances with retainers and end caps and test on a safe area after any change.

Compatibility notes: this is an aftermarket spring designed for drift applications. Check that the spring seat height and inner diameter are compatible with your shocks before ordering.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They can noticeably affect balance because altering spring rate changes roll and weight transfer. Expect different entry and mid-slide behavior; adjust other suspension settings to re-balance if needed.
No special tools are required beyond the usual shock service tools. Follow your shock manufacturer's disassembly steps and handle seals and shafts carefully during reassembly.
Compatibility depends on spring inner diameter and seat type. Confirm those dimensions against your shock hardware since variations exist between makers.
