GT1-26 Steering Saver: Design and Fit

The Yokomo GT1-26 is designed as a dedicated servo saver for 1/10 GT1-01 family touring chassis, supplying a spring-loaded buffer between impacts and the servo. This helps reduce mechanical stress on the servo spline and horn while preserving steering feel for track and street use.

Compatible with GT1-01, GT1-01AG, GT1-01B, GT1-01BG and GT1-01RTR variants, installation requires matching servo mounting and steering linkage geometry and it is fitted into the same position as a standard saver. The passive spring system provides protection without altering the electronics of the drive system.

When tuning, note the GT1-26 can alter how play presents itself depending on spring tension and horn choice. Always check steering centring and make small adjustments to horn position after fitting to maintain consistent response.
