Durable belted slick for 1/12 GT500 use

Supplied as a 2pcs set, this RC belted slick rubber tyre is designed as a replacement within the GT500 hard tyre line for 1/12 on-road models. The belt limits tread deformation compared to unbelted rubber tyres, helping keep the contact patch consistent during aggressive cornering.

These tyres are intended for GT500 hard tyre fits and typical 1/12 rim setups; verify rim inner diameter and the mounting method for your wheels prior to fitting. Installation follows normal 1/12 practice: mount the tyre to the rim, check bead seating, and confirm the internal belt is flat and free of folds or pinches.

Durability note: the firmer belted construction reduces rolling resistance and stabilises transitions at the limit, making these tyres suitable when you need predictable lap-to-lap performance on smooth tracks. Rather than changing inflation, refine ride height, camber and toe to achieve desired handling while tracking wear to assess longevity.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The internal belt is designed to reduce tread deformation rather than act as a heavy-duty reinforcement. It improves shape retention under load but should be inspected for damage after hard use.
They tolerate firm driving on smooth surfaces; however, rough conditions or repeated impacts can still cause wear or belt damage, so check tyres regularly.
Hard rubber at this scale is less likely to flat-spot than softer compounds, but prolonged static load can still leave impressions; rotate stored cars occasionally.
