Belted radial for 1/12 GT500 chassis

This Yokomo YOKGT-39AS tyre is a belted radial rubber option in soft compound made for 1/12 GT500 on-road cars. Its belted radial design preserves tread profile under load while the softer compound raises grip levels on smooth indoor and sealed outdoor tracks.

Compatibility targets GT500 1/12 on-road wheel setups and typical 1/12 rims used in competitive touring classes. Verify rim shape and inner diameter before fitting to ensure the bead seats correctly.

Fitting is standard for model car tyres: mount the tyre, secure with suitable tyre glue for either foam-backed or plain rims, and balance for stable high-speed performance. The soft compound increases front-end bite and mid-corner traction, so expect to adjust suspension geometry, camber and toe for balanced handling.

Use this tyre when you require added mechanical traction for better corner exit or when conditions suit softer rubber, noting it will wear faster than harder compounds.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The soft compound gives excellent grip but will show increased wear during aggressive use; longevity depends on driving style and track surface.
No special rim is required beyond standard 1/12 dimensions, but confirm rim profile and inner diameter match the tyre to ensure proper bead seating and avoid deformation.
To compensate for increased grip, reduce excessive front toe-in and consider slight camber adjustments; tune suspension compliance to maintain neutral turn-in and reduce tendency to snap under bite.
