Rigid aluminium centre mount for sharper handling

This aluminium centre mount is an RC tune-up part built to increase centre-section rigidity on flat, stiff GTX-style chassis. Machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, the mount establishes a firmer centre reference so racers can tune front-to-rear balance with greater predictability on higher-grip surfaces.

Precision CNC work ensures repeatable dimensions so swapping the mount between setups yields consistent behaviour. The aluminium insert reduces mid-chassis flex, which helps stabilise transient behaviour and supports a more predictable handling window.

Installation involves replacing the factory centre mounting component on compatible GTX flat stiff chassis, using the same screw holes and fasteners. Note that the stiffer centre will usually alter steering feel and response compared to softer factory mounts, so retuning may be required.

Made from Swiss 7075 T6 and CNC-machined, the mount offers strong fatigue resistance and is suitable for regular track use when installed and torqued correctly.
The mount increases centre stiffness while fitted; it does not permanently alter other components. Removing it restores the chassis to the previous flex behaviour.
Potentially. On high-traction circuits where reduced mid-chassis flex yields better predictability, drivers often see more consistent lap times, but gains depend on complete setup tuning.
Maintenance is similar to the original part: check fastener torque regularly and inspect for wear or burrs, especially after heavy impacts.
