The XRAY 356158 carbon electronics plate is an RC-scale replacement designed for GTXE flat-chassis layouts, offering additional clearance for electronic speed control units and a cooling fan. Positioning the ESC closer to a fan improves airflow; try small adjustments in fan distance and angle to lower temperatures during long runs.
Minor shifts in ESC location can slightly affect balance. Keep heavier components centered where possible and use the plate to maintain a consistent wiring layout.
Run power leads low and along the chassis spine, use tie wraps or adhesive clips, and keep sensor or signal wires separated from high-current cables to avoid interference.
Thermal pads can help with heat transfer if secured correctly, but ensure any padding does not raise the ESC into contact with moving parts or stress mounting holes.
