This aftermarket roof skid rail fits the VANQUISH H10 Optic platform and is supplied with part number H10015TOP from GPM. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, the rail mounts across the top body edge to protect the shell and create a predictable wear surface when the model contacts obstacles.
The assembly is shipped with the primary rails pre-assembled for faster installation. Included fasteners are grade 12.9 black cap head screws (3x14) for securing to existing body posts or mounts. For dependable retention under vibration, apply a medium-strength screw adhesive to prevent loosening while allowing later removal.
In use, the rail protects the upper body edge from repeated impacts and provides a defined surface that helps keep body alignment consistent after use. The alloy construction keeps the weight down while offering superior resistance to deformation compared with typical moulded parts.
Use the supplied grade 12.9 screws and a medium-strength screw glue when fitting; check body post alignment before final torque to maintain correct fit with H10 Optic chassis allowances.
