The model replicates the JASDF F-15J sporting the 201SQ 40th Anniversary markings at 1/72 scale, aimed at modellers focused on external accuracy and finishing quality.
Built under license from McDonnell Douglas, the F-15J is Japan's version of the F-15 Eagle and has been employed by the JASDF primarily in air defence roles. Squadron anniversary schemes are applied to celebrate unit history and milestones.
The kit comes with injection-moulded plastic sprues and an instruction sheet; assembly follows standard practices such as cutting from sprues, gluing, filling and painting. Follow the decal layout on the instructions to reproduce the 201SQ anniversary scheme.
When building at 1/72, focus on correct panel alignment, control surface seating and undercarriage installation to ensure accurate stance. Aftermarket parts can be added for extra realism but are not required for a good finish.
A conventional injection kit designed for hobbyists and collectors who want to assemble a 1/72 JASDF F-15J in commemorative 201SQ 40th Anniversary markings.
