Eddie Lawson's 1989 NSR500 is one of the era's defining race bikes. This Hasegawa kit recreates the machine in 1/12 scale, aimed at hobbyists who want a faithful miniature of the WGP500 champion mount.
The NSR500 was notable for its V-four engine layout and competitive suspension package. Under Erv Kanemoto's mechanics, Lawson adapted from Yamaha and secured the title on this Honda. The model mirrors those design cues for accurate display or collection.
Hasegawa used a fresh mould to enhance part definition and fit. The V-type crank assembly, sculpted rear suspension and contoured bodywork show refined detail. Builders can choose the front fork style that matches their preferred race setup, inverted or upright.
