The Yamaha YZR500 reflects Yamaha's 500cc two-stroke racing tradition developed for top-tier Grand Prix competition. These machines were designed for extreme speed and responsive handling on international tracks, with manufacturers advancing chassis and engine technology to handle the rigours of competitive racing. The class emphasised rapid development in both machine capability and rider control under demanding conditions.
Model-specific details are presented separately from the bike's racing history. The kit models the subject at 1/12 scale and includes white bodywork and white wheel parts. Clear pieces are supplied for the windscreen and lenses where applicable. Rubber tyres are included for authentic wheel appearance. There are 171 moulded parts in total and the assembled model measures about 167mm long, 52mm wide and 95mm high. Paints and glue are excluded from the box contents.
Decal sheets and team insignia reference the Lucky Strike Team Roberts livery and the #44 rider identity according to the original release.
