Precision flanged bearing for small drive components

This pair of 6 x 12 x 4 mm flanged ball bearings is designed for use in small helicopter assemblies and other compact model mechanisms. The flange on the outer race delivers a positive axial stop to hold the bearing in place within shallow housings.

They are ideally used where a built-in locating surface reduces the need for additional retainers, such as in tight rotor hubs, compact gearbox stages, or idler positions. Prior to final assembly, make sure the flange sits flush against the mounting face and remove any burrs that could misalign the bearing.
