The F-84E Thunderjet from Republic Aviation is a noteworthy example of early turbojet fighters. First flown in 1946 and with production ending in 1953, roughly 4,457 units were built across six variants. The F-84E version, introduced in 1949, improved the type's operational capability.
Hobby Boss has rendered this jet in 1:72 scale, representing the aircraft that served with the United States Air Force until 1956 and in some Air National Guard units through 1959. The kit gives builders a chance to replicate the Thunderjet's characteristic silhouette in plastic.
Model makers will find the kit rewarding thanks to its detailed mouldings and scale proportions. With careful assembly and finishing, the completed model becomes a solid representation for any military aviation collection.
