The Hobby Boss 1/35 Soviet T-37A Light Tank kit captures the compact profile of this WWII amphibious vehicle. Known as the first mass-produced fully amphibious tank, the T-37A served in reconnaissance and light support roles for Soviet forces.
First built in the early 1930s with clear influence from British tankette concepts, the T-37A was deployed in several prewar and early war operations, including confrontations in Poland and Finland. Although many were lost in the initial phases of the wider conflict, the type remained useful in auxiliary roles into the mid 1940s.
The set comprises over 320 parts with multi-directional slide-moulded sections for accurate geometry. Photo-etched parts and separate links for the tracks add realism, and the kit rewards careful assembly and paintwork with an authentic miniature result.
