Hobby Boss 1/35 Schneider CA - Workbench Tribute to WWI

The Schneider CA 1 is notable as France's first operational tank in World War I, with its combat debut on April 16, 1917. While early actions were problematic, later deployments showed the platform could influence battlefield outcomes. Hobby Boss reproduces that historic machine here for modellers wanting an authentic period subject.

Assembly Details and Authenticity

The 1/35 scale kit mirrors the Schneider CA's key features and includes over 380 parts, among them photo-etched details and individual track links for lifelike assembly. The multi-directional slide-moulded turret and hull parts improve fit and surface fidelity, giving experienced builders a rewarding construction task.

Presentation and Collection Notes

Completed models make effective displays that highlight early armoured design and trench-era operations. The mix of fine detail and historic value helps this kit earn a place in dedicated military collections and diorama setups.

Hi RCJAZ, Have just received Fujimi kit 09116, which is a substitute for an out of stock item (Fujimi 90113). Delivery times for goods purchased from your website are excellent, as is your service, and I would be happy to recommend your store to anyone.
This project is tailored to seasoned modellers. The fine components and track assembly demand patience and good hand tools.
The kit is detailed, but many builders add weathering, washes and subtle chipping to bring the Schneider CA to life on a display base.
Assemble track in short runs and check alignment frequently. Use tweezers and a magnifier for small link placement, and allow glue to set fully before painting.
