1/32 F-84E Thunderjet static kit from Hobby Boss

This 1/32 scale static plastic kit depicts the F-84E Thunderjet as a sizeable display model, concentrating on faithful external surfaces and cockpit detail tailored to experienced builders.

The Republic Aviation F-84E Thunderjet was a post-war single-seat turbojet fighter-bomber produced for the United States Air Force. First flown in 1946, the E variant featured structural and system enhancements that improved operational range and payload; it served in the Korean War period and continued in allied reserves through the 1950s.

Kit content is reported according to the manufacturer's release. The assembly uses separately moulded left and right fuselage halves with engraved panel detail. Cockpit and undercarriage bays are modelled with concentrated internal detail. Newly tooled wings reflect the correct planform and permit optional flap positions. Landing gear struts are available in alternate materials, and a single photo-etched item is included for seat belt detail. Two authentic paint schemes are supplied as marking options. Exact part counts, sprue layout, and external dimensions are listed below.

There are 13 sprues included, which account for the plastic components; tyres are supplied separately as part of that sprue set.
Yes. The cockpit receives focused internal modelling and the supplied photo-etched part enhances fine features such as seat belts for close-up display work.
The wings are newly tooled to accept selectable flap positions, enabling either retracted or deployed configurations during assembly.
A single photo-etched part is supplied and is intended primarily for seat belt detail; other fine details are achieved through careful painting and aftermarket options if desired.
Exact model dimensions, part counts and the sprue breakdown are listed in the specifications section and in the manufacturer's instruction booklet supplied with the kit.
