FlyFun 18A V4.3 Flight-Ready ESC for Hobbyists

The Hobbywing FlyFun 18A V4.3 is a flight-oriented electronic speed controller designed to manage power cleanly and consistently in model aircraft. Its imported parts and low-impedance circuit board help deliver reliable current endurance for a range of models including fixed wing, helis and multirotors.

Fine Tuning Options and Protection Modes

Users can customise key parameters using an LED program card or transmitter programming to suit different flying styles. Built-in protections cover abnormal input voltage, thermal shutdown, throttle signal loss (Fail Safe) and low voltage cutoff to reduce the risk of damage in demanding conditions.

The ESC is rated for 18A continuous with a 22A peak. Short bursts above the continuous rating are supported up to the peak value but sustained overload will cause thermal protection to activate.
Fail safe is handled by the ESC when throttle signal is lost; consult the manual to configure the fail safe behavior via your transmitter or programming card.
The ESC uses 18AWG motor wires and 4.0mm gold female connectors, which fit many small brushless motors used in this class of models.
The linear BEC supplies 5V at up to 2A. It is fine for lightweight setups, but heavier servo loads may need an auxiliary power supply.
