Hobbywing's Platinum 25A V4 and 40A V4 ESCs deliver precise motor management for flying models. The onboard 32-bit 72MHz processor ensures reliable speed control so pilots can expect consistent throttle behaviour across different flight regimes.
These ESCs include a switch mode BEC with adjustable outputs. The Platinum 25A V4 provides 6V or 7.4V options, while the Platinum 40A V4 is adjustable from 5V to 8V in 0.1V increments. They support continuous currents of 3A and 7A and peak values of 7A and 18A respectively to handle servo loads.
Driving Efficiency Optimization (DEO) improves throttle response and reduces energy loss, which helps keep ESC temperatures down and can slightly extend flight duration under the same power use.
The units support Reverse Brake, Normal Brake, Proportional Brake and Disabled Brake settings so you can match braking feel to your aircraft and landing technique.
Protection features include ESC thermal and capacitor protection, overload safeguards, throttle signal loss detection and low voltage cut-off to promote safe operation and longevity.
A dedicated programming port accepts a multifunction LCD program box or a Wi-Fi Module for configuration. The companion mobile app lets you tune parameters, review flight data and update firmware on Apple and Android devices.
